SRI ANANDAGIRI
Sri Anandagiri,
or Acharyaji as many of us affectionately call him, has
been a great inspiration and guide to me and many other
leaders of the Oneness Movement. As one of Sri Bhagavan’s
direct disciples, he has been with the movement since
the beginning and has been teaching since he was very
young, in his teens. Since then he has astounded
even great scholars by the depth and clarity of the insight
that he has shared with millions of people around the
globe.

I met Sri Anandagiri
about 10 years ago when I attended my first program with
the Oneness Movement. From the moment I walked in, I knew
I was at home; I felt loved exactly as I was. Until that
day I had thought of myself as a loving person. As I related
to Sri Anandagiri, I realized I was in the presence of
Unconditional Love, and that I had no idea of what love
was. This was a deep insight where I could see myself
authentically, and has served as a great foundation on
my journey. I have always felt very grateful to Sri Anandagiri
for speaking with such great clarity and authority and
repeatedly helping us have such deep insights. He is the
embodiment of a true Guru or Acharya, who gives us the
Light of Self Knowledge which liberates us.
I was blessed
to attend 3 long intensive retreats with Sri Anandagiri
from 1998-2000. I will forever remember the intensity
of the learning and the long teaching sessions that would
go on past midnight into the wee hours of the morning.
In one of his retreats, I was so filled with energy that
I did not sleep for 15 consecutive days! During this time,
so much learning and insight came into our life. It was
as if many existing scriptures and new ones from various
traditions were coming alive in front of us. Now this
learning has become so much easier because humanity has
reached higher levels of consciousness and happens naturally
and spontaneously in many of our programs.
Since 2001,
I have had many brief but precise encounters with Sri
Anandagiri. Each one of them has resulted in learning
and lasting transformation, even when we did “nothing
more” than greet each other. It has become easier
and easier to relate to the Presence flowing through him
and receive much more blessings and Grace.
With love and
affection
